So today I had to fast for 8 hours and have my blood work done and an EKG. So they basically had me run up and down the building looking for the lab so the can take my blood, finally I found it. Simple test nothing big poke me with a needle, drain some blood.
The EKG was the fun part, never tell me that you are there studying or shadowing cause that is my queue to act like a fool. First, the lady comes out into the waiting room and asks for me, I nicely respond and follow her to the room. That is when she told me, she was shadowing. The heavens shined down and said, yes Chris have fun. So as they were attaching the electrodes to me I said, "I'm glad there going on my chest and not my head this time." The one shadowed looked at me and laughed, the real tech did nothing. So as they were clipping onto the electrodes, I jerked real fast and said, "Ouch, I usually charge extra for nipple clamps!" Both of them were in tears now. So after everything was hooked up, I laid still waiting. The real tech started to explain how to work the machine, oh yes I was listening. She said you need to click this, you will hear a sound and the test begins. Which in my world means, hear sound freak out like your getting shocked. The one that shadowed had to jump three feet off the air, when I started to jerk and softly scream. The real tech was laughing so hard, she really did start tearing up. I apologized to the shadower and said I had to do it, it was for fun. In the end we all had a good laugh, and they both said they hope to see me again.
